Western Bison Sale

The Wild West Stampede Show and Sale is held on the first Saturday of December each year. Entries close on November 1st. Entry forms are mailed with the fall issue of Bison Review or you may obtain an Entry Form on this web site. Entry Information which includes Terms and Conditions and Health Requirements, are also available. For judges refer to the September issue of Bison Review.

Female classes offered include; heifer calves, yearling heifers, pen of two yearling heifers, two year old bred heifers, and three and four year old bred cows. Sale of only females, need not be pregnant. Male classes offered include; bull calves, yearling bulls, and two year old bulls.

Three entry options are offered: Show and Sale, Show Only, and Sale Only. An entry can be converted from a Show Only to a Show and Sale entry before the sale. A Show and Sale entry cannot become a Show Only entry after entries close. Please refer to the current entry form for fees and details.

The live auction begins at noon on the first Saturday of December. Buffalo are required to be unloaded on the previous Thursday. Judging takes place on the previous Friday and viewing of the buffalo is allowed during and up to 11 AM before the sale begins.

The Wild West Stampede Show and Sale has brought the highest and most consistent averages of any regional sales. We welcome your participation as a producer and as a buyer of fine buffalo.
